Student Spotlight- Antonio Brito

Antonio Brito

Antonio catered and served at weddings, meetings, parties and more for a local hotel, but it wasn’t the right line of work for him. He grew more and more interested in tech! He started teaching himself the basics of coding and eventually enrolled in RhodeCoders at the Providence Public Library. It was through RhodeCoders that he learned about the Tech Bootcamp Powered by IEL.

Antonio hoped the </> Tech Bootcamp program would help him understand what tech culture is like and how to operate in the day to day activities of a tech workplace.

When asked where he sees himself in 5 years, he excitedly states, I will continue to learn and grow for the tech industry and hope to work a company focused on changing the future.

The </> tech bootcamp gave Antonio confidence; he is now able to “speak tech” and show his knowledge with ease when talking to potential employers. Antonio recommends the </> tech bootcamp program to others because “the staff makes you feel like family, no one judges and everyone helps one another.”
